Spring Day is a large and colorful puzzle filled with interactive and appropriate figurals. A victorian house with wrap-around porch overlooks a finely manicured lawn. There are various shrubbery in full bloom, a statue in the garden (could be a birdbath) and bench. I've added a bird bath of my own as one of the figurals.

There is an average of 1.7 pieces per square inch. Puzzle has been handcut from 1/4" 5-ply Baltic Birch, a very strong wood that will last for generations to come! See enlarged side view below. I cut this puzzle by hand, carefully guiding the wood into the thin blade of a scroll saw, cutting off one piece at a time, using blades with a thickness of just 0.008! Approximate size is 19 3/4" X 15 1/2"

There are 21 figurals including my "key" signature piece (signed, numbered, and dated on the back.) Note the lady sitting on bench is a 2 piece figural.

This puzzle was cut in my Standard Cut. Interlocks well overall but not every piece is fully interlocking. Some pieces will fall out if you pick up the puzzle but most of it should stay together with careful moving..

As can be seen in the photo below (look particularly along bottom edge) the wood is not up to my usual quality. There are some tiny chips that splintered out during cutting or sanding. Should not be noticeable unless you are studying the back of the puzzle. I am running low of my usual wood as my supplier is having a hard time getting more right now. I used all Baltic in place of my usual maple/birch combo and this occasionally happens with this kind. Discounted price reflects this flaw (which does not affect the front of the puzzle).

Puzzle will come disassembled inside the beautiful wood box with sliding lid shown below. Made from solid oak (sides) and 3-ply oak (lid and bottom) and finished. My label is affixed to the outside of the box with the puzzle title, number, and piece count.

Note: This puzzle contains small pieces which may present a choking hazard to children. It has been designed for adults or older children and is not meant for young children.
