The Good Shepherd is a beautiful little puzzle featuring Jesus holding the lost sheep. The puzzle measures approx 7 1/2" X 9 1/2". There is an average of 1.7 pieces per square inch. Puzzle has been handcut from 1/4" 5-ply Finland Birch using blades with a thickness of just 0.008.

I was quite surprised, when, after counting the pieces, I did a double take when I realized the piece count matches the puzzle number - 122 - first time this ever happened!

There are 9 figurals:

• Angel
• Dove
• Cross
• Heart
• Sheep
• Staff
• Leaf
• Praying Hands (enhanced)
• "Key" signature piece
(signed, numbered, and dated on the back)

Puzzle has been cut in my Standard Cut and there is also significant color-line cutting, and along those lines it is not as fully interlocking.. Puzzle was cut one piece at a time- and as always, no two are alike!

Some random pieces shown above. Entire back of puzzle shown below. Note that a couple of the edge pieces are indirectly-interlocking for added difficulty.

Puzzle comes with the beautiful wood box with hinged lid shown below. I purchased this box new and finished the outside with stain and varnish. I believe this is basswood. My label is affixed to the inside of the lid with the puzzle title, number, and piece count. The box measures box measures 6 1/2" X 4 1/4" X 4 " high.

Note: This puzzle contains small pieces which may present a choking hazard to children. It has been designed for adults or older children and is not meant for young children.
